Edward Sander, Robert and Virginia Wheeler Faculty Fellow in Engineering and professor of biomedical engineering, and James Ankrum, associate professor of biomedical engineering, are co-principal investigators of the study sponsored by a new National Institutes of Health grant. 

Nathan Witt, a PhD student in biomedical engineering and researcher in the 3MT lab, won first place in the PhD student competition earlier this month at the Summer Biomechanics, Bioengineering, and Biotransport Conference (SB3C) in Vail, CO.
